The Difference

Why hand-painted costs more than mass-printed.

A printed shoe is a file sent to a machine. A hand-painted shoe is an artist, a brush, and 15+ paint sessions on a single pair. The price is the timeline, the labour, and the materials — not a markup.

Single-pair painting

There is no batch. Every pair is painted from blank to finished by one artist. No economies of scale — the cost of pair #1 is the cost of pair #50.

Angelus paint, layered

Angelus is the industry standard for sneaker painting and the most expensive pigment on the market. A complex design uses 12–20 layers, each drying fully before the next.

2–4 weeks of artist time

Design lock, prep, freehand outline, base coats, detail layers, finisher, quality check. Skip a step and the paint cracks in six months. We don't skip.

1-of-1, never repeated

When the pair ships, the design retires. Nobody else gets your shoe — that scarcity is built into the price, by design.

FAQ

Pricing questions.

Do prices include GST?

Yes. The price you see on every drop and quote includes GST. If you need a GST invoice with your business GSTIN, message us on WhatsApp before you place the order so we can generate the correct paperwork.

What's the refund policy on a custom pair?

Every pair is hand-painted to your spec — a 1-of-1 piece — so we can't accept returns once painting begins. If you need to cancel before we start, message us within 24 hours of payment and we'll refund the full amount. If a defect appears within 30 days of delivery, we repair or replace the pair on us.

Do you offer EMI or financing?

Yes. Razorpay handles our checkout, which means UPI EMI, credit-card EMI (most major banks, 3–24 months), and BNPL options like Simpl are available at the payment step. The exact options shown depend on your card and bank.

How do I get access to the Founders Edition tier?

Founders Edition pairs are by invitation. The studio releases one or two a year, and members on the waitlist get first call. Join the newsletter or WhatsApp the studio to be added — we'll reach out when the next slot opens.

How does pricing work for a fully custom commission?

Send us your reference — the fandom, the scene, the mood, the silhouette you want. We'll quote within one tier above based on design complexity, paint sessions required, and base shoe cost. The quote is locked before any paint moves; nothing changes mid-project.
