The Air Force 1 as canvas.
The Air Force 1 is the canvas every sneaker artist learns on. Bruce Kilgore designed it in 1982 as the first basketball shoe with Air-Sole — but its real legacy is the leather. Wide, smooth panels on the toe box, side, heel and tongue read like primed canvas: they hold detail, accept layered Angelus paints cleanly, and flex without cracking. That's why every studio worth the name leads with the AF1. Whether the brief is a Mercedes livery, a Naruto panel or a Spider-Man split, the silhouette steps out of the way and lets the artwork lead.

- How much does a custom Air Force 1 cost in India?
- Hand-painted Air Force 1 editions start at ₹10,999 for the base pair plus paint. Most studio editions sit between ₹13,999 and ₹19,999 depending on detail and surface area. Full-shoe commissions go up to ₹24,999.
- Are these genuine Nike Air Force 1s?
- Yes. We start with authentic Nike Air Force 1 base shoes — sourced through the studio — then hand-paint the design freehand in Angelus leather paints. The shoe is real Nike; the artwork is ours.
- Will the paint crack on the AF1's toe-box flex?
- No, when it is layered properly. Angelus is the industry-standard leather paint used by sneaker artists worldwide. Our team primes the panel, paints in thin layers and seals the work so it flexes with the leather through years of regular wear.
- Can you paint a custom design on Air Force 1 that isn't on the site?
- Yes. Send a reference — a screenshot, an album cover, a livery, a portrait — and our artists sketch a layout for you to approve before paint touches the shoe. Custom AF1 commissions take 3–4 weeks.
- How long does a custom Air Force 1 take to ship in India?
- 2–4 weeks of paint in the Mumbai studio, then 3–5 business days for delivery anywhere in India. For a hard date — birthday, anniversary, gift — message us on WhatsApp first so we can hold a paint slot.
